I guess "technically" I dropped out of high school, but the very day I did I got a General Education Diploma and started applying to colleges. High school is so teenage drama queen. So I like to say that I graduated two years early.

NO GOD NO DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME ON THE ARMY. At least get your education first--a bachelor degree in ANYTHING, then join the Army as a commissioned officer. You will be making on the order of three THOUSAND dollars more per MONTH on your first day if you go to college first. Go to any four year college, study business administration or just SOMETHING, take their ROTC classes, and come in as an officer and get tons of money. Please, do it for yourself!

Lazlo Falconi : I thought about that, and then I realized that all the student loans and all that is going to hurt me more financially than going straight in. I did my research and my math, and although going to college would be great, all those students loans would not be worth it. So do not worry, I did my homework my friend, and going straight in is the best decision for me.

That way, my loans will be payed for, and when I REenlist... I will be an officer. Dude, I haven't put pen to paper yet, but I should sometime next week. And I am. I know what I am doing. I thank you for advice, but this conversation has gotten way off topic, and I do not want it to be closed. I haven't graduated early, and I don't think that my parents would ever let me either. Plus I kind of enjoy high school, I enjoy be able to play in the band, and all my friends there.

I know this one girl in my grade who is on track to graduate early, for some reason I don't know. Most likely just to get outta there and get to work, I guess.

I'm graduating a year earlier than planned, two years earlier than if I had been in public school when I started school. As you can tell by my profile, I turned 16 a week and a half ago, and I will be graduating this May. My parents have been kinda wary about it, but since I'm already taking college classes, I figured I'd get it outta the way. Plus, most of my best friends are graduating this year (including my girlfriend, who's also graduating a year early) so I didn't see any reason to hold myself back.
