Unfortunately, the only way you can turn off the volume is to just mute the volume on your computer. I realize, that by asking this question in the first place, you probably wanted to listen to something else on your computer such as music or something while you play a game. Right now, this cannot be done. I don't recall hearing that such a feature will be implemented on the next plugin update, but I have heard of it being a possibility sometime down the road.
