somari : We just added 4 sonic games. I've looked over that site a few times, which others do you want?

Edit - it would be better if the hacks are complete, but you could list some to save me time from going through the descriptions for each one.

tRIUNE :

I believe the Rolling Class Demo is a little extra feature that doesn't matter that much. At the title screen if you leave it alone for too long it cycles through all of the different classes. Not having that shouldn't matter.

And the tutorial is handy, but as long as it has the basics, missing a small part of it shouldn't really matter.

The gameplay isn't overly affected by the language. Anyone who played the other 2 GBA games (that were in english) can figure it out since all of the buttons and commands are laid exactly the same way in all 3 games. It's just easier to know that you're clicking the right thing.

I have to say, after playing a while, Pokemon Flora Sky is the most impressive hack out there, next to Shiny Gold I guess. It's such a complete game, and the inclusion of Unova Pokemon is great. I've already downloaded both the regular and complement dex version (has Pokemon the regular one doesn't).

I just noticed a Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past hack in there, and I'm gonna have to try that sucker out.

tj4bigred I've never played any Pokemon hacks, I thought they were all just two-bit shoddy little games hobbled together by kids who didn't know write from right, but for some reason after reading your post, I kind of want to play one of those...

Lazlo Falconi :

Rijon Adventures and Ruby Destiny: Reign of Legends are my two favorites. The stories are unique and actually put together very well.

BNuge : Unique and well put together stories? That doesn't sound like any Pokemon game I ever heard of, especially not a fan made hack! What is going on here? I'll definitely check those out though, thanks for mentioning them.

Lazlo Falconi : Actually, I know there are at least two in there. When I was taking the screen shots for the games before David announced them, I found myself taking a little bit of extra time playing those two hacks while taking screen shots. They both look very promising. Which one do you plan on playing though first?

rcarter2 : I was looking at Goddess of Wisdom, but I hadn't noticed that there was another Link to the Past hack in there... I'll have to look at each before I decide which one to start.

Lazlo Falconi : I will admit, that most Pokemon hacks are just not good. They change the characters and alter the story and rename all the towns. But there are some shining stars out there. Pokemon Shiny Gold is a good example. Using the base for Fire Red, the hacker remade Gold. All the maps are the same and the trainers are the same, as is the story. Not only that, but you can also find some rare Hoenn Pokemon. It's very well made, because it doesn't lean against Firered's script for support. It stands alone, an entirely different game, and a good one too.

As of now I have about 40 more hacks to add to the RGR for next month, and I'm still looking for more games to go with this batch because the month isn't over yet. If you have requests, this week is the time to let us know which games you want added.

tRIUNE : 40? Wow lol, and I already have a ton of games to add as well. Looks like we'll have another huge group of games to add. Also, the next release of the RGR Plugin might support Famicom Disk System games so those might get added as well.

Now that's something I'd have to go into the Retro Game Room for! I've never actually played Doki Doki Panic, but it would be super interesting to see the differences between that and the world-wide release of Super Mario Bros. 2.

Oh hey, this made me think... Does the Retro Game Room support the 64DD?

tRIUNE :

Quick Pokémon hack request. How would you like to look up Toxic Purple? We have a beta of it, but it isn't very long. If there is a new version out, it would be nice to have.

Lazlo Falconi : I don't think it does unless the 1964 emulator supports it.

I have played Doki Doki Panic myself and they really didn't change anything except the playable characters for Super Mario Bros 2. If I remember correctly, even the music and sound effects are the same lol.

Davideo7: Just so you know, there are some music that has been changed, such as the music in Subspace.   By the way, does this mean that The Tale of Elementia might be added?
