Once the game has reached 50% complete, I will most likely not have the US $1000 to have the rest of the game developed. In fact, as of right now, I know I wont have the money. With recently getting my own home, expenses with getting married, and all my current student loans, there's no way I'll have money any time soon to have this game completed beyond the 50% completion.



If anyone is willing to donate to the project, that'd be great. Also, if anyone wants to invest in the game, that is also an option. The minimum investment amount is US $100 and this basically means that you get a percentage of any profit made off the game from ads (which will be in the 4 digits a month in the future). So for each US $100 you invest into the game, you'll get 2.5% profit off the game forever. So if for example, you invested US $200 into the game, you get 5% of whatever profit we get off the game a month, so if the profit in a single month was $2000, you'd get $100 for that month. In my opinion, this is an excellent investment because I expect this game to recieves hundreds (or eventually even thousands) of people a day when it's finished and has been out for a while and with that many people, that's a ton of money to be made from ads.

Wow, thats quite an offer David. I really wish I had the spare money now, lol.

Even if you don't have the money to invest, you can still donate as little as you want.

If 20 people donated and the average donation was $25, that'd $500 right there.


Anyway, the game will be 50% by the end of the month so hopefully we can get the money by July 1st so that this project can continue past the 50% mark

Wish I could help to but I'm so broke it's not even funny lol. I could always go to school and take out a loan we will have to see.

Even small amounts will help out if enough people donate small amounts.

Once this game is at 50% completion and I have demo 2 available, I'm going to basically make a thread dedicated to funding the Vizzed Flash Bash development, might even make a 2 page website, who knows.

But anyway, I would say how much money is needed for the game's development to finish, how much money donated so far and I would visit many forums asking people to donate, give them the demo that they can try out and get them to want to see this game be finished. I already have 5 forums that I'm a member to that I'll post it on, 2 of those forums will have many people interested I'm sure.

I'll also submit the game to newgrounds as "Vizzed Flash Bash - Offline Edition" and have a note in the game saying something like "We need your support to raise $1000 in order to get this game developed into an online multiplayer game". I'm sure the game will get high ratings on newgrounds even if it's an offline version and if it gets good enough ratings, it should also get a good amount of views, especially since it'd be on newgrounds and we'd just hope that some of the people who liked the game are willing to donate to help get this game finished. I'd also offer the "investment" thing I mentioned in this thread.

In other words, I'm pretty confident that we'll be able to get the money to finish the development of this game, just might take some time and patience.

Seems like a pretty awesome plan David, especially submitting the off-line version to Newgrounds.

Could advertising for the board be incorporated into the game? That could then not be in the board's version? You know, just a line or two pointing to Vizzed Board, or maybe a splash page at the start of the game? (GO TO VIZZED BOARD. HAHAHAHA)

It could definitely help to pull in more members (couldn't hurt at least). Or would something like that be too much trouble?

Well if we made it so they had to come to a thread on this forum for information on how to donate, that would help put. Of course I can advertised vizzed board in the game in same way, the main idea of the game is to drive traffic to the site so I'll find clever ways of doing so.
