I haven't been on Vizzed RGR in about 2-3months. But I felt like playing a game and since Vizzed offers the best games of 89-97 I came here... again. xD

However when I choose to play "Final Fantasy III" For SNES (Which I was able to play before) it prompted me to Download the new RGR plug-in update. I did so since I wanted to play FF3.

When I used to come to this site daily I could play any game I wanted for Snes GB GBA GBC NES Including FF3.

Now however I get this error "iDirectDraw7;;CreatSurface failed." It tells me I should update my driver (Which is currently up to date) or to use a 16bit Desktop or "Non-D" mode I do not know how to change from a 64bit OS to a 16bit desktop that's totally baffled me. Or what "non-D" mode is.

I'm currently in the process of checking to see if this error occurs on other games as well and I will get back to you with that.

Anyone who can provide Assistance or a solution to this problem would be a great help.

This has been a problem for other people here before without a solution. The best I can come up with is a few things:

-Uninstall the rgr plugin and reinstall.

-Run dxdiag in your Start menu search bar, or 'Run' if you have Win XP, and disable all the Graphics acceleration (DirectDraw/Direct3D/AGP) and then reenable them

-Uninstall and reinstall your video card drivers

Some other possible fixes:

-Run in XP mode if you have Win 7 or Vista

-In the emulator menu select a video resolution that doesn't have (D)

I just ran 3 different games today I have done nothing different then I had yesterday. However this time it's not giving me an error.

Again I did not change anything.

I feel like David is playing with my emotions! D=
