Notice: This fanfic will require the use of special character sets, like Webdings and Wingdings. If your computer does NOT support special character sets, you may see question marks, squares or random characters in place of the special character sets.

Notice 2: The story will also switch formats on occasion. The formats are paragraph format, script format and the early RPG format. An explanation of the formats is below.

Format Explanation:

Paragraph Format: The entire chapter is written out like a book. The actions and thoughts are described in as much detail as possible with quotes in between what a character says.

Example:

Mario was enjoying the cool sun breeze as he was sitting on the front porch of his and Luigi's house when Luigi walked up to him. "Hi, Mario." Luigi greeted, to which Mario replied, "Luigi, long time no see!"

script Format: Basically different rules apply here. The location, time, and date are explicitly given and the character's name appears before what he says.

Example:

Toad Town
1/5/2012
12:01 PM

Mario is seen walking through the streets of Toad Town. He meets up with Parakarry, the only Mail Delivery Koopa ever.

Mario : Got any mail for me, Parakarry?

Parakarry: No, not yet.

RPG format: This format is rarely given an appearance, but I'll explain it anyhow. This format is similar to that of the old-school NES RPGs. This format uses a very particular font, which is the Joystix font. This font is most commonly found on NES RPGs like Dragon Quest or Dragon Warrior.

Example:

LINK USED SWORD SLASH!

12 HP OF DAMAGE DEALT!

Now that everything is explained, let's get on with the adventure.

Prologue:
The Days Before The Adventure

I had entered my bedroom, which was also my game room, if you consider the massive amount of games I had collected over the years. You could say that the bedroom was my gaming paradise, because I had every system in the world known to man and every version of the system, complete with special plugs for playing them on a North American TV.

I bet your wondering to yourself what in the world my house looks like. It was one of the biggest mansions I inherited from my great-great-great uncle shortly before he died, because in his will, he left me with this billion dollar mansion, along with $999 quadrillion dollars to spend on whatever I chose, including video games.

I spent some of it on having the mansion cleaned and taken care of, much of the money went to a lifetime supply of food and men's clothing, while the leftover money went to video games and game systems.

I bet you're thinking, "Wow that's a lot to be spending!" Well it is, trust me on that. I also spent some on anime and trading cards, more specifically Pokémon Trading Cards, especially the first generation ones.

So, when I headed to my bedroom, I switched on my Sony TV and hooked up all sorts of video game systems, each one to those multi-RCA cable hook ups that I had to spend thousands of dollars on. When I turned the Wii on however the screen began to flash some weird gibberish onscreen.

"Uh oh, that's not good!" I told myself.

Just then my TV screen began to glow blue, and before I knew it, I was sucked into the Video Game Universe.

What will happen next, now that Dash has been sucked in the Video Game Universe? Only time will tell.
