This is what Castlevania II would have been if it was structured like the others.

This is a more of just a remake of Castlevania II, it features new areas and enemies, new items and the ability to switch between other characters, it's somewhat more challenging and it will take longer to beat. Basically it's an entirely new game.

I actually thought they were pretty decent hacks.

I liked the third one the most though, and would probably reccommend that to anyone with no idea what Castlevania is.

legacyme3 : Did you try those 3 in fullscreen? The first 2 will give a small window for fullscreen but if you were to output your pc to your tv with s-video cable then it fills the entire screen of your tv.

The 3rd seems to have buggy controls for me though in fullscreen, it might not in windowed mode but the windowed is too small to play. Did you get any unresponsiveness with it?

I played in the window, I almost never go full screen in games... I usually forget you can.
