...wario land 4 works ok for me... you aren't the first person recently to report this similar bug... For the 1m sub-circuit press the key for the A button to skip that.

The other problem with wario not getting past the file screen might have a solution if you PM the RGR Staff, I will notice it and take the time to answer.
