Good day all the members of this page and thank you for accepting me.

I'm truly new to all this fad, not only in this page and retro games, but games in general. I'm mostly a book geek with a little side dish of tv series (Like: My Name is Earl, John Doe, Burn Notice, The Big Bang Theory, My little Pony Friendship Is Magic ), Web Series (Nostalgia Critic, Spoony, Zero Punctuation and so on) and maybe 2 movies in all the year.

English is not my natural language and the reason I came to this page was because I got a little nostalgia desire to play the pokemon games/Super Mario 3, I looked around the net and bam, came to this page.

It seems... nice. Honestly, I have no truly opinion of the site and the people so far, but I hope I can have a tranquil experience, playing games once in a while and enjoying things that I couldn't buy when I was a child.

The Belgariad, Malloreon and pretty much all the works of Eddings.

Eberron (Yes, I know is not a book but the world building is outstanding)
1632 (At least until the 1634: The Bavarian Crisis).

Harry Potter (Book 4- Book 7 the worst)
The Hobbit
Johnny Maxwell Trilogy.
And you could say Garret P.I, if only because this books are my personal House of Leaf (I can't simply understand almost every paragraph and the story is as easy to follow as trying to assemble a computer with instructions in japanese done by a Korean with shaky understanding of the language).

I gotta say that this is the most detailed newbie introduction I have ever read. I have read one that was over 1000 words long, but it was 98% weird mumbo jumbo talk that didn't even need to be said. I like this one. Just wondering, since we know your favorite shows, books, etc., can you share what some of your favorite video games and game franchises are? Anyway, if you have any questions or experience any problems, feel free to ask. Have fun.
