This is the Amanita muscaria or in swedish röd flugsvamp (Literary translation: red fly-mushroom). It doesn't make you big like the mario one but if eaten you will be having one of the worst drug trips in your life. Why is this so interesting? Well they pretty much grow everywhere in sweden, lots of them. And well....

From what I'm seeing, death is a side effect. And I doubt that mushroom would be any better than a bad trip on acid, which would lead to you seeing a whale with 5 arms coming out of the ground, stabbing you in the chest and making you think that you died, and therefore you would.
