Greetings to the community of Vizzed. I am Lvl1Critter, though you may refer to me as Critter if you so please. I suppose I should give a proper introduction of myself, yes? Well, here goes! My name is Critter and I live in the United States. I was born in the year of 1862, the year the bridge of my hometown -- Westminster, London -- opened! For the earlier part of my life, I studied physics and integrative biology to help further medicine research. An avid learner and reader, I quickly excelled in the medical field. There was a single quote that always motivated my education, that being of Socrates', him stating, "Employ your time in improving yourself through other men's writings, so that you shall gain easily what others labored hard for." And so I did. I helped produce the vaccine for cholera, and two years later, the vaccine for anthrax. I traveled all across England for many books and practices that would further expand my knowledge for medicine -- I wished to know it all. However, I remained nearly completely anonymous during all of this. Beholder of the secret of eternal youth, a knowledgeable, never-aging man like me only became conspicuous. I had to travel from one place to another, and each time a new name I was called. Years passed and withered and all the while I remained a deranged hermit. Social life eventually became preposterous to consider; locking myself inside my home for weeks wasn't an abomination. I studied art and music, science and mathematics, history and origins, and many other things besides. Eventually technology developed to the point of where it is now and I became involved in those things. A computer and iPod was no rare thing, for both technology and music I adore completely. It is startling at how adept we humans can be, though I'll save that conversation for some other time. Anyways! Now that story time is over, perhaps I should list a few interests of mine. Yes? Here we go! I enjoy education, clearly, and music and art. Music that I enjoy is an incredible variety, though most recently I have enjoyed classical (a personal favorite), rave, and Dubstep. I suppose Dubstep could be considered a category of its own in some perceptions; it really is quite unique. Abstract art is very interesting to me. I really like to paint on canvas with acrylic paint, especially in an environment that motivates me to do so. I love animals and nature. Every day I go for a walk, even if it is pouring rain or snowing. I am fascinated by weather, my favorite being rain. My favorite sea creature is definitely an otter because they are so cute and playful; my favorite air animal is probably an owl, though it is nearly a tie between owls and eagles; my favorite land animal is definitely a koala. Did you know that a koala is the only mammal, other than the Greater Glider and Ringtail Possum, which can survive on a diet of eucalyptus leaves? That's fascinating, isn't it? Yes, it is! I love to read anything I can get my hands on. Whether it is something I have not broached before or a classic, I am always in ecstasy when surrounded by books. I have an entire room dedicated to bookshelves and books, the room I call my study. Only a large desk, some decorations, and a few lone chairs exist beside the enormously towering bookshelves. In this room alone I have collected over three thousand books, all of which I have read. I have a... fastidious liking to only mount books on my bookshelves that I have read. The others are scattered randomly throughout my house. Travel is certainly something I enjoy. I have lived in Australia, Africa, America, and Russia for several years, though England is my true home. I love seeing different cultures, societies, and environments in different areas; it's wonderful, really, when you really appreciate it. Hm, anything else to add? This could be considered quite lengthy for an introduction, so if you want to skim through it, please do! Ah, how could I forget video games? I began playing video games when the original Atari was released, mainly of fascination at the time, but now of pure enjoyment. I own quite nearly every gaming system released, though I particularly enjoy my SNES, Game Boy Color, and PlayStation 2. I can spend hours playing "The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past," "Chrono Trigger", "Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas," and "Pokémon Gold." I don't purchase an incredible amount of video games, but those that pertain to my liking are certainly reserved. Alas, mates, here is where I depart. Over 800 words, I deem this introduction can be made satisfactory. I hope everyone reads through all of this and understands a little bit more about me. I love talking about video games and any essence that sporadically crosses my mind. Oh, and I love philosophy. I don't want to type more about this because I know I will just ramble, so that too I will save for another conversation. Cheers, mates! Greetings to the community of Vizzed.
