When we last left off, we finished the first part of the first world.

Now, it's time to go high in Level 1-2

In this level you have to jump on palm tree platforms. Of course, it's easy for beginner players to fall to their deaths (and have their bodies buried and lost in the sands FOREVER! BWAHAHAHA!) if they're not careful. For a bit more challenge, their will be more Bombshell Koopas in your path. But the our featured enemy presentation is...

Bunbun
An even more annoying flying insect. This one drops spears from above. Sometimes they are too high to jump on, making them even more irritating. But if you can, they will turn into dead skeletons! Bee bones, dogs? Trivia: The name bunbun is actually an japanese onomatopoeia for buzzing. (I got this from Mario Wiki)

Fortunately, these guys are only in this level, but don't celebrate, you still have to fight them.

After a series of Bunbuns (not to mention some deadly falls), we finally reach the exit! Time for the final level in the world!

Level 1-3

Yep, It's the opposite of 1-2. The level takes you deep underground in the pyramids (maybe tombs).

There you'll find some falling stones from the ceiling, and a familiar enemy

Piranha Plant
Originally called the Pakkun Flower in this game this plant pops out of pipes and are immune to stomping. A famous enemy.

Go a bit further avoiding these obstacles and you'll encounter another new enemy

Gao
These mini-sphinxes fit perfectly in the theme of this level. They shoot fireballs diagonally at you.

Go a bit further and you reach the bridges where you fight a couple more Gaos, and finally the first boss!

King Totomesu
This guy is the king of Gaos! He'll shoot  fireballs straight while moving up and down!

A reminder when fighting bosses. In order to defeat them, you must get past them and stomp the switch behind them or fire superballs at them a few times. We did it! The giant sphinx fell! We finally rescued Princess Daisy- What? She turned into a Fly! She's a fake! The real one is somewhere...

To be continued...

Please tell me what you think about my walkthrough so far!

This is really good, but I noticed one or two things. It's not a big deal but it would be nice for your next walkthroughs.

1) Try to add some screenshots. I know Super Mario Land is a linear game but a few screenshots will embellish your walkthroughs.
2) Needless to do one thread for each part. One thread for the entire game is better. Of course, it takes more time but people will not be lost with so many threads

I myself make some walkthroughs for Vizzed Board (that's my job after all ^^ ), the last one I made was 007-Nightfire on GBA: https://www.vizzed.com/boards/thread.php?id=34632&ppp=20&page=0#516846

Don't worry, it's really good and enjoyable. If you need any advices or ask any questions, you can PM or add me as a friend. I will be honored to share my knowledge and my experience

EPIC failure redefined... One game at a time!
