You know, its a real funny thing with the Pokémon games. Threw out the series of Pokémon games, such as Pokémon yellow straight to Pokémon black and white, we have had the choice to choose a Pokémon as a starter, normally a fire, water, or grass type. But what makes the choosing special? We're choosing something that can truly love to raise and fight with, and then slowly become favorites...

Okay enough of that. XD, well now its time for me to state this to all my Pokémon fans. Who here was their favorite starter and why? 

Example for me is this. My favorite was Mudkip, a water type Pokémon that, when it begins to grow, can learn how to use water, rock, and ground type abilities. Plus, sense he's water and ground type, what normally would effect Mudkip to Marshtomp, wouldn't.

So come on guys, what's your favorite starter?

I would say my favorite starter would be Chikorita. I really got into Pokemon in the 2nd gen, and that was my first starter then. x3

Yeah, I think this is a duplicate.

Anyways, my favorite Pokemon starters have always been Grass types. Any Grass type with a strong evolution would be my ideal starter.

Well my favourite starter would be Bulbasaur given he's among the few sleep inducers that don't suck and he can actually sweep really well on drought teams. My second would be Mudkip, because let's face it, who doesn't like Mudkips? Third would be Chimchar due to great moves, great stats, and the fact that he's one of the few 4th Gen Pokémon with a really nice design.

I have always liked using the Water starters. I have played all of the games and my personal favorite would have to be Mudkip. I also liked using Totodile, Chimchar, Cyndaquil, Squirtle, Pikachu, Bulbasaur, and Snivy. I love playing the games and the starter really does make a difference in how well you play the game.

Totodile all the way. It just looks so cool, and it knows Rage really early, so it's good for long fights like gym leaders. I also have a thing for water types (I always choose them first, then others on replays), so that adds to my love. And it evolves into Feraligator! FERALIGATOR! How ca you not love Feraligator?!?!? My favorite is Torchic. I know there are others better suited for starters like Bulbasaur as posted earlier it can learn Sleep Powder which is great for catching pokémon (legends too) and you sometimes don't get access to good water pokémon for surf. I just prefer a Torchic.
