I'm planning on going to 2 more anime conventions this year.
- Otakon
- Another Anime Convention (Yes, that's the name.)

I will be going as Emil Catagnier for Otakon.
I don't know what I'm doing for AAC.

Is/has anyone else going/gone to an anime convention?

It costed me a total of 20 bucks to go to anime boston for a day; and that's only because it's the 5th largest convention.

My costume costed me 30 bucks because I had to buy a specific type of black cargo pants.

Surprisingly, this hasn't been locked

I didn't get to go to AAC.
I did go to Otakon. (It was awesome!)

I'm going to Anime Boston and Otakon this year, since:
I somehow convinced my parents to go to AB for the entire 3 days
I convinved my parents to visit my aunt and uncle in Maryland during Otakon XD

I'm still thinking of cosplay plans, but I'll probably be going as a dot hack character to Otakon.

I've been to several anime conventions!
This past year I was at Ohayocon, Tekkoshocon, Otacon, and Colossalcon.
Also, coming up this weekend is Tekkoshocon again! I'll prolly also attend the next Otacon, Zenkaicon, Nekocon, Colossalcon, and pretty much any within a few hours drive, because I have nothing better to do.

None that I know of. Most Anime Conventions though will feature at least some Subtitled videos and alot of people cosplay as characters from Jap only series along with have panels and workshops featuring them. They are always set up for any kind of anime fan/otaku to enjoy.

I've only been to a couple conventions and I don't see myself going to one again in the near future. Not that I don't like them because they're awesome events, I just can never seem to make any time for them, what with the closest one being a 3 hour drive from me. I would go again if I had the chance, and I hope one day I'll be able to go to a larger convention (the ones I've been at so far have been mid-sized).
