Hello,
As the title says no matter what I do I can't get LOZ:MM to work. It will open, and on the N64 version it will start to load and then all of a sudden the screen goes half black and half white, and never progresses further. On the GC version it will say "saved state download failed".
Now, I know it's not my graphics, considering my computer is brand new. I've also tried it on Google chrome, fire fox and Internet explorer.
I'm at a loss of what to do, I really want to play this game.
Thanks so much.

What confuses is me is what are you talking about "GC" version? We do not have GC ROMs or emulators. And even if your computer is new, it can still be your graphics card, as it seems that the N64 ROMs have a tendency to work for some type of graphics cards and not on others. Just because it is new doesn't mean it has the best graphics card. It might not be compatible. Majora's Mask is one of the most troublesome ROMs for people.

I apologize, what I meant by GC version is that it is the Majora's Mask game that says "Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask (GC)" as opposed to the regular Majora's mask.
As for the graphics card, I bought this laptop for gaming, and I've never had a problem with any other game on this site, so I would assume it wouldn't be that.

Oh. I see. I always assume GameCube when I see GC And as far as the graphics card, it isn't that your graphics card isn't good (even if it is the best for gaming). It is hard to come by quality N64 ROMs that are compatible with everyone. Even if you have a great graphics card, the ROM might not be compatible with it. It's more a problem with the ROM. That is why N64 games are the ones that have the most graphics issues. It works for some and not for others, and compatibility seems to be the most likely explanation. It is hoped that future updates to the plugin might be able to help lower the issues with the N64 ROMs. But there always is the possibility that this isn't the issue. To test it, can you try a few other N64 games to see if you have the problem? The more you try, the better. If you are able to find games you don't have problems with, then the compatibility issue is likely the culprit.

That pretty much covers it. Most N64 loading issues come down to the graphics card and the ROM. Since this is all done, I'm going to close it. If anyone needs anything, PM me.
