Nintendo has stated the following:

"We intend on releasing 2 Zelda games for the 3DS next year, one of which is a new game, as we don't want remake after remake to be released on the system"

So, this has inferred that they are going to release Majora's Mask for the 3DS, after they release another game for the 3DS.

This game in question may or may not be a sequel to Skyward Sword.

Thoughts?

That would be awesome if they did something like that. Majora's mask is the often forgotten Zelda title.

Honestly it's probably more similar to games like Phantom Hourglass than it will be Majora's mask, but maybe I'm wrong.
