I don't care about the damned Viz, take it all, I don't give two damns. I wanted opinions about my book, not about the rules of the board that DO NOT APPLY TO THIS THREAD AS IT HAS BROKEN NO RULES.

Just because I write a lot, that's pretty sad that you should say posting of a raw book that I need peoples' opinions on IMPROVING should be illegal.


Just state your opinion about the story. If not, I'm going to just sign up to an author-friendly board on the side; at least my work will be valued there.

You should know by now that I am trying hard to be the best moderator that I can be. I am trying hard to follow in your footsteps but I keep tripping up because I can't even POST here anymore. You know what? Block me from getting Viz and/or EXP, I don't need it to post. That is not and WILL NOT be my motivation to post, it's the words that come out of my virtual face that is my motivation to post.

...I hope that this is another one of those sarcastic little jokes you made, Bob. Like, "Heh, you post too many words " instead of "RAWR, your posts have needless words, remove them!"

I'm not against you but I hope that you don't think my posts in the story section are long because I want more Viz; my posts in the story section are long because they're STORIES and are meant to be longer than, "Guy meets girl, girl meets guy, they both die, cry cry cry, the end". And if they're hundreds of Viz in value from posting, take the earned Viz away, I don't want it. In fact, block all the statistics parts of my profile, I could care less. As long as I can post my stories here, and I get feedback on how to improve it, then I would love to be an active member here still...


I hope this cleared up at least a little bit of this "Posting of books should be illegal" thing. Bob, take away my Viz if you think that's what I posted the book half here for.

No. I ment, its just as easy to upload a html somewhere. Why should you get a bazillion Viz because you decide to post a book you been writing.

If Viz shant be rewarded for small posts, it shant be rewarded for copy/paste from a book you wrote in word (or any other good editor).

Also, about the copy/paste from word...
What do you want us to do? Write it from our heads, unedited?

GOOD BOOKS DON'T COME THAT WAY, BOB.

Bobs point: Uploading books instead of copy pasting for extra Viz. Also makes for less wall of text.

lbocks point: Copy pasting as to easier reach the users instead of having to download.

Compromise: Copy past part of prologue put rest in download for those interested.

If a book is not in front of the person, UNLESS IT IS REALLY GOOD, they won't read it.

We have an vizzed uploading system, Or you could use filesend or something.

Secondly by attaching an example of the book you may get people interested. I'll be frank by saying that this big wall of text won't really make me want to read it. I could be persuaded to read an prologue though. (Yes I know there's an prologue there but it's not easily distinguishable.)

I agree with the "Big Wall o' Text" thing, however...
...What if it's more easily broken down into parts?
That way, you can tell what you're reading?

And just to tell you, the prologue and FOREWORD are two different things, M'kay? Good, now that everything's clear, this document is officially going to be online for download shortly.

Your font is tiny and hard to read.
Hint : Upload a .doc so you can set propper font size and text format. There you can also seperate it into chapters with an index and a copywrite notice.

I'm not saying anything bad about his book.

In fact, It's really good.

I have uploaded it on the only site that would upload it in less than 85 hours: Filefront. While this is breaking the rules of their site, I hope you guys download the part of the book soon .

Just as an F.Y.I, Filefront isn't very reliable.
After a while, they delete old files.

Save a backup of SD on your computer.

I do have a backup. I wouldn't trust FileFront, they suck. I'm just making it so people can download it; I'm definitely not going to use it to store any major files for safe-keeping.

The fact that the book isn't on here sucks now.
I have nothing to do in school (can't download stuff.)

Well the reason why it's taking so long for me to write this is because I:
-Have to revise it
-Am working on studying for the SATs
-Developing a game (and it's going well)
-Writing 2 other stories
-Been job hunting... Still................. (it's going horribly)
So even if it seems like I'm giving up on this book, I'm definitely not; Just busy with... Life...

I frequently critique on people's Literaty works in another forum, soooo, IO always ask, do you want to me to give my opinion, or do would you like me to say what I think in an indepth critique? I like reading other people's work.

Edit : And when I say indepth, I mean like piece by piece critiqing, giving general errors and content contridictions, etc.
