In five minutes, an article on Yahoo.com caught massive attention. It states that BY 2010, everything and anything related to internet will crash, burn, and end. This means no more Myspace, Youtube, I CAN HAS CHEEZBURGER, Cracked, and... *gulp* VIZZED Is this the end of internet?

It very well might be.

Impossible, repeat after me,
IMPOSSIBLE.
Why? Because without the internet, it's like loosing Beef. Humans just wont allow it. The internet is a HUGE money-making business, the big corrupt corporate leaders wont allow it's shutdown. And besides, the Internet is Obsolete now. It will shut down eventually, but not due to overload. But due to a new... Internet. But not an internet. The internet is more 2d, well, think 3d. Thats the new internet.

i dont belive this for one minute. If they are running low on total net bandwidth, add more connections between the nodes. Simple as that.

*gets popcorn to watch massacre of messenger and waits for the internet to crash and burn*

Can't they just simply add more bandwidth? Though I really don't see this happening. How could it happen anyways lol.

711 days left. Say goodbye while you can guys.

The internet is connected VIA Nodes located around the world. If it was becoming such a problem that there was no room left on the internet for more speed or space (keeping in mind SPACE is dependent of SERVERS connected to the NODES seperatly. NOT A NODE!) (and SPEED is dependent of the CONNECTION between YOU > NODE > SERVER and back again) more nodes could be added or technology could be upgraded. At the moment the best connection in terms of speed is "Fiber Glass", speed of light. (last i heard it was anyway.) Of course to connect Aus node to America Node it goes VIA satellite. Satellites can be upgraded. Node recivers can be upgraded. House hold internet can be upgraded. And as time goes on more upgrades will happen.

EG: Wireless Speed Of Light Connection.
Fast as Fiber Glass, but without the cable.

Anyway, my point is... its not that people WONT let the internet shutdown. Its that it CANT be shutdown. its a Worldwide LAN, NODES are like Switches.

Wireless has to travel further though.
Alot further..

As I said, if we run out of bandwidth, just add more connections.

Kinda on topic, kinda not, its quite interesting to browse this site for research into internet usage.

Speaking of internet, HTML, and data, I just got a Windows® Step By Step HTML/XHTML textbook <3333. Thanks again, Ben, your parents are supremely amazing for being so nice . I kinda felt like I was making them broke though ugh.

So anyway, this means I'll be able to make websites with even more experience . XHTML is better than HTML because you don't have to constantly go < br > you can just go < br / >

Now I'm starting to realize that the internet article is probably just a scheme to have AT&T® get more customers.

LOL @ AT&T!!!! I'm sure they wouldn't have spent all these years and cash working on IPv6 if internet was going to die before or shortly after it becomes prime.

Yet at the same time they got articles about Internet 2 which is suppose to be 10,000x faster then a normal connection.

If internet died, I would be homeless and would have wasted all this money for college learning about it.

Raiden, He said "NODE," Not "NOSE"
(Sorry for spam, I just had to say that with the amount of nodes in the post)

So what you're basically saying is that the cake is a lie, as is this article?

Yeah... pretty much... i mean it MAY be true that AT&T is running out of bandwidth, but that isnt my problem. That isnt the internets problem nor the problem of the billions of users (unless connected via AT&T)...
