There are three versions the original japanese version (adult), the original USA version Dragon Ball Z, and the new horrible Dragon Ball Z Kai...

The new verison seems to just cut way too much out.  Now I understand cutting out some episodes but it seems they over did it on some parts.  I did also notice they refocused the show onto Gohan instead of it being on Goku.  Vegita also gets a bigger role in it too I have seen.  Goku gets an extreamly smaller role in the new series. (Did they not like Goku?)
