Ever heard of the game Spoons? It is a card game, and it gets dangerous! I forget what the minimum number of players are needed, but I do know that "the more the merrier bloodier."
Everyone that decides to play must sit down at the same round table. All players get four cards each, and the rest of the deck (or two decks if you're playing with my family) is set next to the person who shuffled and dealt them. Players then go clockwise passing their cards around as fast as they can --you must always have four cards in hand. Once you have four cards of the same kind (2s, 3s, Kings, etc) you grab a spoon from the center of the table.
If you see someone else grab a spoon, drop your cards and grab a spoon! It's not about everyone getting four of the same cards, all it takes is one person! If you are the person who was unable to grab a spoon, you get a letter. If you have lost enough times to spell the word "spoon" you are out of the game.
So how does a game like this get dangerous? You should at least see my family play. Floors rumble, chairs tumble, and wills crumble. Some people, including me, will leap halfway across the table to nab a spoon. Sometimes two or three people will gang up to help one person and defeat another.
