This is very difficult. In fact, except for one thing, I would not be able to choose. But if I were to be stuck with one pokemon to battle with... Sneasel. The best fighter of them. Aesthetics? Meowth, if only so I can evolve it into a Persian.

It has an amazing attack and speed stats and although its defences and special attack is not good [like all pre-evolved Pokémon], it will wipe out the competition before they have a chance to attack. As far as appearance purposes, Skitty. As for useful moves, Glameow or Meowth.
