This weekend, I will be perfroming in a competition against more than 10 people in advanced snare drumming.

good luck hopefully you better than the drummers in my class. we play a song and the drummer who is on the timpani is tuning or has made a mistake and the whole band stops and we spend like 10 minutes having our teacher correct them. -------------------- |

At least my self esteem didn't go down to the point where I went into a spiraling depression for the week.
(like the last 7 times) This time, it was only a slight disturbance in self-esteem, and a depressed period of 30 minutes. I set high goals, and get really upset if I work hard for something and get nothing in return. It makes me feel like I tried for no reason at all, and makes me feel like I shouldn't have even tried.
