So they just remade the Wii, wasting money to keep themselves alive, just so it could look sideways, even though it looks the same when you NORMALLY turn the Original Wii sideways?

Wow guys... The original Wii was meant to be laid on it's side just like that. The only change is that they moved the Wii logo sideways, but if you look on your old first generation Wii, it still has rubber "Feet" on the sides to be placed this way. In fact, when I was living with my (now) father-in-law I had my Wii set up like this because I accidentally left the stand packed up in my storage unit. There is really no difference between the first generation Wii and what you've posted here--Unless the rumors of it not playing GameCube games are true.
