To be honest, paper mario just ins't that cool. I mean, the original mario games were far superior. I just think that nintendo needed to try to outdo the other game consoles that were making an appearance at the time. Cause to be honest, if it all came down to playing a mario rpg or a regular one, you'd pick any other one out there. Just saying. Ha! Just kidding. Paper Mario is so stinking cool. I couldn't hate it even if I wanted to. It surpasses all other mario games because of the sheer fun of running around being mario!

Xzman : There are several reasons why Paper Mario is cool. It's Mario, and he's paper, and you get the spindash, plus all the partners are very cool and usable too. My favorite character in the whole entire game was Lady Bow. She is so awesome! She can slap, disappear to avoid damage, scare enemies away, and use her fan to do tons of damage. That's just my opinion personally.

GOSH! That game is that addicting! That's why it's SO cool!

I have no idea, it is just extremely addicting and I find myself playing it a lot just purely because of that reason. It may be paper and whatnot, but it is still a lot of fun. I enjoy it every time I play it and I always come back for more. It is a good game and I would rank it on my top 10 list for favorite mario games. It is just that awesome. Glad you feel the same way about it! 

For me is not cool because I like other games but everyone has his tastes and I respect them. With more like other games with this Mario game but this does not mean that this game is wonderful for some.  This game looks more like strategic game and these kind of games do not convey emotions that I require. With more games like action / adventure. However like most Mario games with the SNES version, nes that the N64 version. It seems the original SNES version. I have this impression.

asdren : Asdren here I disagree with you, because in my opinion this game and all of Nintendo 64 games are very beautiful. You may please snes version but in my opinion the Nintendo 64 is more advanced and better graphics than the SNES version

Emira I do not say that to have the same opinion with me. But I can not've never nintendo 64 to a level Supernintendo (SNES). Ok Nintendo 64 might have better graphics but no creativity and emotion snes games. I respect your opinion.

Omg, I really never expected for this post to get so popular, well I guess when you want to get popular, do something with Paper Mario, and you're in. Which in my opinion is really true, because of Chuggaaconroy. The first Chugga video I ever watched was, guess what, Paper Mario. I also hear a lot of people say he got popular off of his PM LP's. So... yeah.

It's one of the games I played that have a paper perspective on it. And its a RPG!!!

I can think of a few reasons (this is all concerning the N64 Paper Mario):

-It's the successor of Super Mario RPG Legend of The Seven Stars (only one of the coolest games ever)

-It manages to take the gameplay seriously without taking the game itself too seriously, constantly throwing in puns and gags alluding to the fact that everything is made of paper. Heck, when I first saw commercials for it, I thought it was a joke! lol

-Similar to the previous pro, it balances humor, RPG story telling, and action.

-It's a fresh idea (those aren't exactly abundant in a game industry that has been around for so many years).

-It had some innovative gameplay.

-And last but not least, it was a BLAST to play. lol

This game had no equal in my opinion. I'm not saying it was the best ever, but I am saying no game could compare to it and it was one of the greatest.

Why is it cool? Man, if I had the time I would make a song out of it XD
