Wow, that Tonberry's going to be a #@!*&. Especially since there is a 50% chance of it dealing an instant KO.

The stats are almost exactly based off FF7. Tonberry in the original game, his Time Damage attack was actually based on how many hours you played FF7, the damage was the hours you played the game * 100 (plus any additional minutes) so instead I just made it based off posts. And his other move, which I'm sure almost everyone is famliar with, KO's the opponent on 1 hit.

But yeah, this day has been a pretty fun one, too bad I didn't come up with it for an earlier day

Actually it isnt baed on how long youv'e played as it would'nt deal different damage to different players. For example for me in FFVII it'd do nearly 9999 damage to Cid but almost nothing to Tifa. Also it would always do 9999 damage to cloud (not sure if he can evade it, havent tried with his uber stats) Why? because its based off kills... (At least im pretty sure it was)

Same math's function

(number of kills for target) * 100 = Damage.

Its also set up like this in FFX (Thank god my tidus has over 10K hp since it does more damage than the damage barrier

Well according to a strategy guide I looked at, it said based on hours but you might be right.

Well by that theory... the most damage it could do is... 9900 + 59 Minutes so 9959... Nah i know ive seen it do 9999. Plus if ya play FFVIII and do the side quests ya learn more bout the tonberry from the Tonberry King (and various other sites can help piece it together).

I mean im not saying your wrong, but i know FFX had it structed as (X * 100) X = Targets Total Number of Direct Kills.

Cause in FFX, itll do like 12K to Tidus but only about 8K to auron and 4K to Yuna.

Im pretty sure its structed like that in FFVIII as well, as its hard to do their sidequest no matter how long you train as "Everybodys Grude" is based off your kills (thus more training means more killing means more damage taken from that attack).

and since its called that in FFVII and that name really has nothing to do with time or anything, i figured thats what it was...

Tonberry sucks way more on vizzed then here. No matter the game.. cept FFVIII i can kill him before he take his 3rd step... but here, he only has to take 1 step... and well i cant kill him in 3 hits...

Remember theres is a 50% chance "Knife" will miss. Also his other attacks is based off your totals posts. Total Posts x 100... you have more than 6.86K Hp right? Actually, i dont think anyone can survive that attack. I know bob and i can NOT as it would do 40-50K Damage

IceWave, regarding your comment in the Round 2 thread, you said you'd like a critical hit. This might be a possibility next round, however, It'll of course have to be up to me to do the randomness so therefore you guys will not always know what your attack damage will be, obviously not a big deal.

But yeah, I'll consider the critical hit. Will also be a feature in 'Vizzed Board Game' if that ever gets developed



Also, IceWave, the Tonberry you guys are fighting is just a "Tonberry" it's not the "Master Tonberry".
Go to this page and search for "Name: Tonberry"

Now search for "Name: Master Tonberry" and you'll see there is a difference in their attacks. Also notice that there is a difference between "Time Attack" and "Everyones Grudge" (between tonberry and master tonberry).

Ohhh.... fair enough... well in any case that little green freak killed me... lucky for my PD! woo me!
