The way I was told was you'd have to get her to level 50 before she dies, and afterwards she'd simply still be alive. it didn't work and yes, I actually grinded THAT much to try and keep her alive. The ultimate troll lmao I wasted I don't even know how many hours doing this lol

mister sandman : Frankly, you SHOULD be right...in some Final Fantasy games, they list a description as: "Revive a fallen ally." Wouldn't that count for Aerith, also?

Oh, I just found an unverified way with no evidence that totally works!

How to resurrect Aerith:

1. Level her up all the way.
2. Go to the last boss battle before she dies.
3. Kill all of your party before attacking except Aerith.
4. Have Aerith solo the boss by only using her regular attack.
5. She lives when you get to the scene.

Sacrifice a small child to the great god Imhotep.

Or, alternatively... simply keep a Disk 1 save and reload it, never go beyond Nibelheim and there you have it, Aerith never dies.

I noticed an earlier comment about Zack being ressurectible, which, if Aerith WAS revived would make the first of the Sephiroth battles much, much easier, since I heard tell in a few walkthroughs that it's possible to attack with 3 parties, instead of just two, a load of Twadle, I know, but still, it'd be pretty cool.

Personally, I got used to Aerith's death pretty quickly, mostly because it took me forever to work out that my original FFVII's first disc was dead and kept crashing before the disk-change screen (Which frankly annoyed the crap out of me), meaning, I watched the stabby stabby scene around 30 times before ever completing the story line.

Oh, and, if you think about it... She WAS revived... As Yuna.

Side note before I write this one- Phoenix Downs do not work that way. In FFV when the party was trying to revive Galuf they actually did try everything. Curaga, Raise, Elixers, Phoenix Downs, you name it, and none of it worked. Phoenix Downs heal FAINTING not DEATH.

Anyway, play FFVII until Aerith dies. Now, take the disk and memory card out and attempt to stick them in a GameCube. Saw them down if you need to. Now, make me a sandwich and I will cast a spell that turns your GameCube upside down and sideways and then with the disk-part facing up. Only I am able to do that. The sandwich must contain Turkey and Pepperjack cheese. Now, watch Advent Children, but pause when Aerith somehow helps Cloud up in that one scene. Screenshot this. Play the game and you will get a message over Mognet (somehow) from Zidane Tribal. He will give you a Phoenix Pinion covered in Nutella. Nutella, with it's magical properties, enhances the Pinion's power. Go to the City of the Ancients and use it on that projector screen thingy and...

A dead penguin named Aerith will be revived and joins your party. You're welcome

This is a method that has to be started very early. Before she is introduced to you,you must buy a flower from her as a flower girl.
When Aerith is in your party,or when given the option to have her in your party,keep her with you. You will need to eventually get her final limit,great Gospel,that must be acquired on disk one.When going through the Ancient's Temple towards the end of Disc 1 you will be taken to a room where you have to move a number of giant clock hands. Move the hands so you are able to walk over to IIII  and enter the room. Inside you will find the Princess Guard.When in Wal Market for the first time, Don Corneo must choose her as his "woman".Do not use the medicine  on the sick  person in the bathroom. When you can roam the world map to go to gongaga village, take aeris and tifa with you to fight the turks,then unlock the backstory of Zack. After the beforementioned were aquired, and  Aerith finally gets shanked,the "holy" materia aerith had will glow,but she will still die. When you're able to return to midgar on disc 3, excavate the midgar city key. Go back to near where Aerith's house was,and give the medicine to the man in the tubular house who was poisoned by mako and doesn't know who he is. Tifa must be in your party. This man is Zack. Replace your third character with zack,so you have Zack and Tifa in your party. Return to the church that Aerith grew flowers in to see her ghost. Zack and Tifa comment on feeling like they heard Aerith's voice. you see her ghost breifly,then it disappears. Go upstairs and you will meet someone named "Aerith?". She rejoins your party,still named "Aerith?". This cannot be changed.  The rest of the game plays as normal,as if she had still died. *Spoiler Alert* On disc 4,Tifa leaves your party with Zack to go back to her bar.

Ok so first things first, you put all 3 FF7 disks into a blender.



When you finish destroying your last year of free time, I mean save data you have 15 minutes to cry about it before you melt the plastic clutter into a liquid I like to call 100% Aerith Juice.



Now you can pour all of the Aerith juice all over a new copy of FF7 for the PS1.



Pop in the juicy disk 1 and make sure that you let Aerith die 7 times in battle and revive her with a phoenix down.



Now here is the hard part go back to Aerith's house but if you meet a thief in the slums you have to start again from the last save. NO JOKE



When there, put in an NES controller into the player 2 port, (you may need to hack the console for this to work). On the controller put the Konami code in 5163 times backwards 1 slip up will mean you will need to do the process all over again.



Now as long as no one in your party dies until you get to end of the game, you can revive her!!!

I found a brand new method to resurrect Aerith! This is really cool!

1. Beat the first disc with the controller upside-down.
2. This gives you the Viking Hat on the 2nd disc.
3. Equip the Viking Hat onto Barrett. His stats should all go down to 0 except for his luck.
4. Erase your file while doing a handstand. Go back to disc 1.
5. Start the file titled "best file evar." You should start the game next to baby Sephiroth.
6. Enter battle with baby Sephiroth. He has 12 bajillion HP, so it takes a long time. When you beat him, he'll start crying then evolve into Klonoa, then he'll run away.
7. Now you can keep Aerith through all 3 discs!

1. Get the Princess Guard, which only Aerith can equip, and make sure she does not have it on her before she leaves the party. When she dies, you will only get the Materia back, not anything shes wearing.
2. With the water chocobo or the airship, land on Goblin Island. Fight there in the forests until you get the SQUARE nut. This is not for Chocobo breeding though. Save your game!
3.Take FF7 out of the disk tray.

4. Play Final Fantasy Tactics and unlock Cloud. You will get a cutscene with a 'flower girl' who looks really familiar! Quickly save your Tactics save file. Notice this game came out in the same year as FF7 - it was a conspiracy. 

5. Now play Ehrgeiz, the Square published fighting game. In this game they have a multitude of FF characters; Cloud, Tifa, Yuffie, Zack, Vincent and Sephiroth You must beat the game with all these characters EXCEPT Sephiroth.  Don't let Sephiroth win!

6. Now that you have proven Cloud can meet Aerith across timelines, and proven the partys skill in fighting, put FF7 disk in. You should have your FF7, FF Tactics and Ergheiz save files all on the same memory card. The game can now revive Aerith. To do that, go to Gold Saucer and go stay in the Haunted hotel. You should get a black screen and a single line of dialog that reads  "En Garde!" You will fight Culex, a strangely Super nintendo looking enemy boss in your dream state.

7. Finally, with Culex beaten, you will get woken up by Aerith at the hotel, who tell you she didn't die. She just floated downstream and woke up along a shore. She has been working at the hotel as a scullery wench in hiding. She will now rejoin your party!

Guys you aren't addressing the issue of how reviving her can just blow up the game.  First off, Aerith was in the middle of casting holy and she must have had something to do with the lifestream empowering holy to be able to repel meteor from destroying midgar.  Now I would also like her back but even in the computer mods of the PC version, you can have her up to the moment of going down the north cave where she's not playable anymore from the point forward.  Though she will be known as one of best I have been able to play with right before she left from the temple.  But if I were to find a way to bring her back, it would be that when the holy materia has fallen into the water, it shatters into 7 pieces that help restore Aeriths life in a way that life and phoenix down can't be able to revive those that died instead of fainted.  Now the pieces are hidden in discrete places that there will be very little hints to be able to locate them  Oh and the materia has already used holy so it wont really change up what's happening in the northern cave.  Now not all of them will just be hidden, some will have to be won in a minigame that is ramped in difficulty or even a boss that can be even on par of the final boss.  When all seven are collected, take it to the place where Aerith lies and the pieces will combine together and Aerith will just wake up from the water and she will rejoin. 

I saw this and honestly, I believe if they make a re master, that you could pay 10$ for an item to revive her, but it would be an entirely new side-dungeon to obtain it.

1.Cloud gets depressed.
2.Equip Ribbon.
3.Fight Sephiroth
4.Beat him.
5. Watch credits roll.
6.Watch the (fake) secret ending, where Aeris somehow comes out of the place where she died.
