Overall - 7.5
River Raid II on the Atari 2600 is not the same as River Raid. It is a completely different kind of game and I do not like it. It is an okay game, but it does not seem to interest me. It is barely similar, except you are a boat instead of a plane. I do not get the game at all, it is confusing and I am not sure on what you are suppose to do in the game.
Graphics - 8
The graphics are good to be honest. There is nothing wrong with it and everything seems to be right.
Sound - 7
The sound is boring. There is no music, all you hear is the engine of something and getting people in the water. The sound effects are okay. At least it is something to be able to have fun with, I guess.
Addictiveness - 4
The game is not fun for me. Like I said, it is a confusing game for me and I do not seem to understand what to do, so I would not play this as much.
Story - N/A
There is no story in this game. I really have no idea on what the point of the game is.
Depth - 5
The game does not have much to offer, not even a little. The only thing that was weird was that after you get an amount of people of something, you play a little "Operation" game where you get the little piece out of the person's body. I have no idea why it is in the game, it is nowhere near related to this game, but it is in the game and I do not understand on what to do in it cause every time I get the piece in the body, it says that I messed up. That is pretty much everything on what the game has.
Difficulty - N/A
I am not going to say whether it is hard or not because I cannot determine it. The game does a rotation over and over again and I do not know if I am winning or not and the scores are so confusing. So I am saying nothing about the difficulty.
Wrap Things Up...
River Raid II is completely different than the first one. I have no idea why they would do that, but they did and it is no fun for me. I would not recommend this game, but if you want, you do not have to listen to me. It is an okay game, but I just do not like it and I would probably not play it for a little.
