Cyan17 got the riddle right first.   The answer was: A daughter.   Here's another:There are 20 people in an empty, square room.   Each person has full sight of the entire room and every one in it.   If you are not allowed to move in any way (other than your eyes).   Where can you place the apple so that all but one person can see it?   pokefantalha was close enough.   The answer: Place the apple on a person's head
