HIIIII, my name is Heather. I was spending like thirty minutes looking online trying to find Tiny Toon Adventures cartoons for my five year old daughter to watch (toady's cartoons just, I don't want to say stink, but I prefer the ones I watched when I was growing up) and was getting NO results. Finally, I found this site and was like let's see how this works. Since it was free I skeptically registered, and as I am starting to learn the inner workings of this site I think I will really enjoy it. It really helps that a lot of people have video game character pictures on there posts, and a lot of those are from the Final Fantasy series (YAY!). The only thing that would make this site PERFECT would be if it had episodes of the show Dinosaurs, but I doubt it since it wasn't a cartoon, but I am going to check after I post this. If anyone wants to know anything about me just ask. |

Welcome to the site. I think that you will find yourself becoming less skeptical of this site every day. As you have seen, there is plenty to do around here, and a lot of old cartoons from back in the day. I did not see Dinosaurs on it. I loved that show as a kid. My little brother got the DVD set after I showed him a few episodes online. Well, I can see that you are a Final Fantasy fan. Plan on making use of the FF games we have here? There is even an NES version of FF7. Everything down to the dialogue, world, and the events that happen are pretty much 100% identical to the famous Playstation, the only difference being the graphics are changed to fit NES. It is worth checking out. If you have any questions or find yourself having any problems, feel free to ask. You can PM me personally if you want. People on the site try to be pretty helpful, and you will find that this is a very friendly and family appropriate community. Unlike other sites, we don't allow insults to other users and very questionable content on these forums (Except for the Cafe Corner forum, but you have to be at least 13 years old to view those). Hope you find what you are looking for in this site. |

*cough cough* Allow me to rephrase what rcarter2 last said. When he was talking about the Cafe Corner, he meant that it has more serious content in it. Anyone posting in the forums, regardless of what the topic is, still must follow the rules. I just thought I would clear that up before there was any confusion.
I can't say I have heard of the show Dinosaurs. There wasn't many cartoons I watched when I was younger --and I had seen very few cartoons that are in the RTR. As rcarter2 said, many of us enjoy extending a helping hand. So if you have questions or just want to chat feel free to send me a private message. I can't say I have heard of the show Dinosaurs. Thanks guys. If i have any questions will I always be able to come back to this thread to get your usernames if needed? Like it won't get deleted and I will always be able to see it? And yeah there were no Dinosaurs shows. AuraBlaze it was a really funny show back in the (had to be) early 90's you should look it up, in my opinion it is definitely worth watching. I was kind of disappointed that I couldn't find any Animaniacs cartoons (with Yakko, Wakko, and Dot) but there is Pinky and the Brain, and I could swear that they were like a mini cartoon in Animaniacs. I wish there was Darkwing Duck, Rescue Rangers, and Duck Tales those are getting almost impossible to find, however Tiny Toons shall sustain me. As for the games, I am more of a console gamer (MW2 hardcore search and destroy FTW...did see that you have the Oregon Trail game, I made a reply post to this thread last night but it didn't go through, I didn't know how to edit my original post, but I wanted to put a THANKS! on here for that) the only games I really play on the computer is Neopets and League of Legends, btu somehow I don't think that playing those would have any similiarities to the games here. I might try it because I REALLY REALLY REALLY wanted to play some Mario. I guess I will just have to try it and see if I like it. Is there a gaming controller with a USB port that you could use that anyone is aware of? |

Your thread will not be deleted. The most the moderators could do --only if it is necessary-- is throw this in the Trash Can "where bad threads go to die." What will happen, eventually, is this thread will be automatically closed after it has been inactive for six months (no posts in that time period).
I hardly got to watch any cartoons from the 90's even though I was born in 1990. That was my parents discretion, but I do believe they did the right thing for me. What do you mean by making a post for Oregon Trail? I looked for a thread specifically for that game and found nothing. Would the thread itself be your post that did not go through? To edit a post, click on "edit" in the top-right corner of that specific post. You should be able to find a PC controller at any electronics store, particularly those that also deal with video games --Best Buy jumps into my mind. The price of one depends on what you want. Some go for as little as $10. I hardly got to watch any cartoons from the 90's even though I was born in 1990. That was my parents discretion, but I do believe they did the right thing for me. Thanks for the heads up about the controllers. I tried to play one of the Mario games last night and it wasn't working for me so I will have to tinker with it later, too tired now. I figured my post about the Oregon Trail didn't go through because it was on this thread at the time I didn't see an edit button, I was still trying to rush around and take in all the site at once. Still exploring, made one friend so YAY for that. |
