So, who here has seen the anime and what are your thoughts on it? I thought this was one of the best animes I've ever seen. The violence was a little bit too excessive, but not too much so, but I felt sooo sad for Lucy, how she was treated when she was a kid. It shows how peoples xenophobia can lash back at them and how peoples cruelty can horribly alter a persons personality. And the music box, oh that melody has me tearing up as I type. And the ending made me cry more than any other event in my life; I'm a guy and I never cry, I've cried like 6 or 7 times in my life and this is one of those times. The series had me so enthralled I watched all 13 episodes in one night. If you haven't seen this, or read the manga, you need to watch or read it right now!

I tried to watch it on Netflix, but they messed up the order of the episodes and I never got past episode 3. Also, because it was via Instant Netflix, it was dubbed. The dubs are hilariously bad. I mean, it was terrible, but so much so that I found it funny.

I loved the series. I was kind of sad during the part with Lucy's childhood how that dog was beaten to death by those bullies and Lucy killed everyone. My favorite character out of everyone would have to be Nana. One of my other favorite characters was Bondo even though he was a real ass.

@ StevenLanders I liked Bando too even if I didn't like the way he acted. In the Manga Bando actually saves Mayu from Lucy, and gets cut in half, but in the anime hes just an ass XD
