Ok, so why am I here...I'm a gamer, and the current game I've gotten myself addicted too "Final Fantasy Tactics Advanced" is starting to drive me mad. Reason, as soon as I get to a point in the story line where the linked option appears in the rumors the following day my game disappears and a completely different one is there. Mind you it is much further along in the game, but I want to play MY game, not someone elses. So in the hopes that it won't erase all my hard work, 'restarted now 4 different times' I registered.

Other stuff...I'm a PC nerd..have a BA in PC security, so you can guess my frustration. I've been playing various games since the day of the Atari, and I love just about anything to do with strategy, the better the graphics are, the more interesting it is, BUT IT HAS TO HAVE A STORY LINE, otherwise it gets boring.

Pretty much it for me, fell free to ask anything you want, I may answer. I'm on here mostly during working hours as it is, since my home PC is still on dial up.

i saw you talking to a couple of people about having the wrong saves.

anyway, welcome to vizzed.  your problem isnt normal, the site has been getting maintenance etc etc and im sure triune can help you better on that front.

but in the mantime enjoy the games nonetheless, post in the forums and kick back in the retro toon room.

triune  you say....I'll have to go hunt that person down , maybe I'll get lucky and my saves will just be misplaced some where and they can be redirected .....

Not sure where you saw me talking with others...havenot been on the site more than a few minutes...unless there is another user with a similar name....or was that just a suggestion to see if I can locate the owners of the saves I have that don't belong to me...if they were simply swapped I would love to get mine back

If you look at the top of thenumberone's post, you will see that the username tRIUNE can be clicked on. What thenumberone has done is "summon" tRIUNE so he can help you with this problem. I can explain this system more to you in a private message if you want. Just send me one. Seeing that you are a PC nerd with a bachelor's degree in PC security, I can understand how this compounds your frustration on saving your game.
