Despite the many negotiations, the NBA is still in a lockout. Because no agreement could be reached, Commissioner David Stern was sorry and sad to report that the first two weeks of the season are cancelled. Below is a link to the article from nba.com. What are your thoughts on this?

Update: With the NBA still in a lockout, all games for the month of November have been cancelled. I can't decipher the tech speak behind this, so if anyone can explain what is going on I'd appreciate it --even though I am kind of enjoying this lockout.

My thoughts are that no one cares.  NBA may very well disappear and no one would notice.  NHL hockey must be licking its chops at the newly-found market accessability.  Normal people can't connect with basketball players anymore and I think most won't notice it's gone.

I won't miss it either.

I stopped enjoying watching a bunch of over payed players bump into each other a bunch for a couple hours. I'd rather watch college basketball instead.... although that would pretty much die if the NBA dies.

I wouldn't miss it. I don't watch sports, if I wanna get involved I just play them myself. Plus if I did watch it wouldn't be basketball. Just me though.

NotJon : College hoops doesn't do it for you?  Personally, I get up for Georgetown at Syracuse, or Michigan State at Wisconsin, or Duke at Maryland.  That's more entertaining than the NBA if you ask me.
