Water Pokemon...not a bad choice, they're my forth favorite type....

My first two are PSYCHIC and GRASS type Pokemon. To me, they seem to be the strongest.

Of the 3 listed, I choose Fire. While Water is very strong, and quite versatile, Fire has 1 capability the other 2 don't have. It is the only starting type to be able to damage Steel types super effectively. To me this is important since Steel resists around 10 types on its own, give or take 1 or 2. And when it is a dual typing, it usually gets even more resistances

For the longest time it was fire, but now I'm a water convert. Being a fire type poke ain't too good. Most are weak against super common attacks like water. Water's weak against only grass (not too common) and electric. However, my beloved Swampert (NOT MUDKIPZ) is only weak against grass.

Also, water types tend to have a wide variety of attacks. Pretty much all of them can learn an ice attack which is very good against the dreaded dragon types and even those pesky grass types.

All in all, there's just so much going on for it to not be my favourite.

That being said, Psychic and Dragon aren't far behind.
