I want to basically create a text box that my posts will appear in, that stays a defined size and scrolls down if the post needs it to. I want it to appear between my current header and signature. I thought I had it, but it still wont work and I cant figure out why because I cant see how my code is interacting with board code.
Here is a text file containing my current code. The box needs to work with both IE and Firefox. If anyone can help with this, I will gladly give...say...250 Viz? Thanks!

Using the same code that i use for my text area will work. Also it will allow you choose the color. 
BA-LEATED!!!! Removing the spaces at each end of the DIV tags will give you a scroll bar.
Change the XXX for you defined width (in your case probably 100%) change YYY for your defined height. Whatever you what it to be 
Anything else you can change as you please. Padding, Align, ect. Past all the code BUT the first END DIV tag at the END of the FIRST box in the layout... (the top box aka Post Header) and at the START of the second box (Post Footer) place the END DIV tag. Dont forget to remove tags.Reply back to this thread and if it doesnt work properly i shall adjust it in your post and it will allow you to just copy and paste it from editing your own post.

I thought scroll boxes were banned, as it makes foruming worse, if you scroll down, then have to scroll in someones post to read it all, its a kinda bad thing...
IW04, we could possibly make your autoscroll to the top for the time being, untill you get your new one (are we just waitning for me to add the stats thing??)

I was not told scroll boxes were band. Ive used them for close to 3 years now... Most of the time anyway. So i say LIES... Its YOUR personal preference to not have scroll boxes.
