Some of you may not have heard but Sims 3 has been in development for some time now and is soon to be released.

All these pictures I scanned from the most recent issue of 'Games for Windows' magazine and I highly suggest everyone subscribing to it.

Oh, wow! Dude, this is some amazing stuff! Now my computer needs to be from the CIA to play a sims game!

Yeah when this game comes out, I seriously may have to take a day off from work to play it because after reading about it and looking at the screenshots, this game looks just amazing. Character graphics aren't a huge improvement but the environments are just amazing looking.

I still have yet to read the entire article so time to get reading...

And as of right now (today), this is oen of the only places on the internet with information on this since the magazine just came out yesterday and the official website hasn't even posted any information on it, but apparently they will tomorrow.

Now if I actually read all the articles, isntead of just skimming the first few words, I'd have about 100 more words, but on to the point.

Now as soon as I actually read the article, I'll know a bit more of what I'm talking about.

I'm actually a big fan of the SIMS seiries, but the last game was a bit... Eh... To begin with, you had to literally micromanage an entire family. One person was hard enough, but 3? I found that every single second I had to tell each member exactly what to do. That was ONE person. While I was telling this guy what to do, the others would slowly DIE. Fun, isn't it? Now if this isn't fixed, I'm suing the SIMS team, buying their asses, and promptly selling them on eBay. The graphics look better in term of expressions and customization, so I'm actually hoping this comes out soon and not too pricey to boot.

All of the Sims games for the PC you control the entire family, so I'm not sure what game your refrencing to that you're only able to control 1 person.

This game looks awesome. I love the Sims! (the PC versions anyway, I dont like any of the console versions so far).

The one thing I liked about the Sims 2 for the consoles (forget the exact name) is the fact that it was 2 players. Playing the Sims with another person is a lot funner than you would think. Me and my GF played it for the GameCube on 2 players and it was a lot of fun, but once we had done everything, it got boring and we never played it again. The console Sims games have low replay value for some reason but offer the only option for 2 players, so I kinda hope that the Sims 3 gives some kind of option for 2 players and with controller support because it's also kinda fun to walk around with your character with a controller like on the consoles.

But I agree Canarith, the PC version of the Sims is way better than the consoles (except for 2 player support and controller support).

Okay... If this is going to be available on a console, it's gonna be like... 8 blu-ray or game disks... Looks wicked amazing and I think the distinct personality element makes it even more fun.

The fact that you can roam the entire town, visit neighbors, go to the park and other locations is what I'm most excited about, your no longer restricted to just the area around your house. You can now take control of your sim and walk over to people's houses, stores, etc.

1 blue-ray disk would be enough to hold the entire game and probably several expansion packs. However, it would take many DVD's but thankfully XBox 360 has a pretty big hardrive which you can install to. But anyway, I doubt that they'd make it exactly the same for the consoles as for the PC because the consoles games always lack a lot of stuff that the pc version has.

Wow, if this game doesn't get 10s all around, then there's no game in the world that pleases reviewers.

This will easily get in the upper 9's.

Also note, the official website is being hit hard with traffic so it's almost impossible to even navigate it so these pictures I scanned are probably the easiest way to find information, and also provide more information than the official website currently does.
