I like the sims and all, but...
A) It needs goals.
I like games where you can "Beat" them.
Playing a game with no end in sight gets boring after a while.
(Unless they're arcade/fast paced games)

B) Too many of them.
Okay, so... you've got your sims, your 8 expansion packs and your 12 stuff packs.
That'll be an arm and a leg.
Will that be cash or charge?

Still, I do eagerly await The Sims 3, and I'm probably just going to get the game itself, and no expansion/stuff packs.
I like the sims and all, but...

I am very scared about the Sims 4. I mean if this version is overly complicated, imagine another sequel? Soon the characters'll rip your monitor open and jump out; Soon you won't be able to tell between your life and the sim life, the only thing setting it apart is the Sim-babble.

Really? I played the Sims 2 on a crappy computer and was fine with it. You can of course go to the options and mess with the settings so that the game runs smoothly on a slow computer.

Sims 3 on the other hand might require a powerful computer because some of the features I've seen that it'll offer, I don't see how those features would not require a powerful computer.

And as for the Sims, it's almost impossible for them to not be successful with the Sims 3. The previous sims were both extremely successful and I think they are the biggest selling PC games ever. Sims 3 is going to be better in every possible way and have just so many more things to do and more features, I just don't see how it wouldn't get above a 9 for a rating.
