WOW----
You've seen it, in stores, malls, and nerd's basements everywhere. It's a massive role-playing game that's been out since 2004 and it now has reached 10,000,000 subscribers (including me). If you haven't caught on to what I'm talking about, then you've been under a rock.
The game I'm talking about is World of Warcraft; It's Blizzard's new brainchild and cash cow. With the upcoming release of "Wrath of the Lich King", the subscribers are estimated to go up 7%, or 700,000 people.
____
Game Play___
There's a ton of different elements to the game's structure; From skinning to mining, and from just plain training out in the plains, there's more to do in this game than there is in your nerdy little life. The core game in itself is 480 hours just level grinding from 1 to 60, not to mention the other skills that can be learned along the way.
Ultimately, if you don't get addicted to this game and you are an RPG fan, you had better check your pulse. This game is actually an entire new EARTH with fantasy elements.
Score for gameplay segment: 97/100
____
Music____
Surprisingly, every song sounds epic and enthralling. I was surprised to hear orchestral music while I was just walking around as a total equipment-less noob. It never gets old and it almost feels like the game company is cheering you on to be the best player online.
It's almost never repetitive and only gets a little boring when you're in towns.
Score for music segment: 95/100
____
Replay Value___
Once again, I've got to say, with all the updates and the new expansion pack coming, this game should keep you distracted for literally a year or two. And after you spend the 480 hours leveling your character, you can do it over and over with new classes and races, until you're officially deemed insane.
Score for replay value segment: 100/100
