YoungGame :

I would like a little more detail on why you consider those movies to be your favorites--I want this thread to be detailed, with reasons why movies are good, not just an easy post.

You don't need to post again, just edit your old posts with more specific reasons is all.

Reptile : I agree partially, both 1 and 3 were the best of the series. The second one is a huge let down...not "scary" or adrenaline pumping at all. The highlight scene of the second movie was when the entity picked the baby up out of the crib for a few seconds.

Other than that, I love the whole concept of making it look real although it really isn't.....that to me is a brilliant, especially for horror films.

Well that last movie I saw was Tower Heist yesterday with some friends. It was pretty funny and had Ben Stiller and Eddie Murphy. It was a pretty good comedy. I agree with my friend Kassi it could of been given a better ending.

(THE EPIC TURTLE GUY) title given by {Hnnn}.

Legend of the Ga'hoole is the best movie, because I never seen any awesome graphic like that. I love the sound effect, funny story-line like Digger get his butt pitched by some bug and when they yells "MS.P!" as the crow stole her, i mean, C'mon! "Ms.P" sound like Ms. PEE! XD I laughs so hard! XD

Though it's not my favorite movie, the best movie I've ever seen is Citizen Kane.  I can't really explain the sheer awesomeness of that movie. You would just have to watch it. Suffice to say it is so great that Rotten Tomatoes gave it a 100%.  If you haven't seen it watch it.  But only if you like old black and white movies. If you don't, then you probably won't like it.

V for Vendetta. Usually when they make a live action movie out of a graphic novel it doesn't go so well, so this is a rare case.

Oh gosh so many movies so little time.  But my favorite movie of all time is Pink Floyd's The Wall the movie. Its such a good movie because it is based around a single album that Pink Floyd produced and is progressed only by the sound track of the album. And the movie really does apply every ones life at some point in their life. If your a college student it is a must buy. Seriously it's the greatest movie of all time without a shadow of a doubt.

There's so many. I'd probably narrow it down to three:

"The Good, The Bad & The Ugly"

"WALL-E"

"Schindler's List"

Okay I lied, add "American History X" to the list

TGTB&TU has a deceivingly simple plot, great characters, the best soundtrack ever (in my opinion), and is an all around great experience. "WALL-E" is everything a movie for children should be and I especially love all the nods to classic things in the film (WALL-E himself, the 50s dancing footage, little dialogue like the olden films). "Schindler's List" is just one of the most emotionally-moving films ever and I didn't even see all of it. "American History X" quite simply changed my life.

Evilninjagamer : I've seen that movie once...I didn't understand it AT ALL! Was he a hero or villain?

I loved the beginning of the movie with all the fireworks, and the fact the masked guy was sophisticated and clever.

My favorite movie is Millennium Actress. It's an animated romance and it's so adorable! Granted, looking back the main character seems a little pathetic for.  She's just so helplessly in love with this guy though it seems she's destined to never be with him. I  couldn't helped but be completely sucked in! The ending is sad and made me cry, but I still love it

In 1605 guy fawkes planned to blow up westminster palace and kill the protestant king james of scotland who had taken the throne of england.for a good many years catholics had been persecuted and hunted down, he wanted a catholic king to take the throne to end that.he was caught and killed.
In v for vendeta the protagonist is wearing a guy fawkes mask, he too is a revolutionary fighting for an idea (britain has fallen to a dictator similar to hitler) and on guy fawkes night he plans to pick up after guy fawkes.

I'm glad to see how many Quentin Tarantino flicks are in this thread. He really is one of the great directors of our time, and really under appreciated by the main stream community. Take, for instance, my favorite film, Kill Bill Vols. 1 and 2 (You can't really split them up because, even though they were released separately, they tell one story that can not be told without both films). A lot of people look at this film and see a violent, blood action movie, but that is not the case. Kill Bill is actually a very touching love story, the story about a mother on a quest to right the wrongs of her former lover.

The main character is betrayed by her friends. Each of them closer to her than family, each of them just as responsible for her downfall as the next. It is not that she wants to kill them, but that she must. It becomes the sole driving purpose in her life. But that is once again her downfall, as witnessed at the end of Kill Bill Vol. 2, when she has, as Beatrix Kiddeux puts it, "Gone on what the movie advertisements called a roaring rampage of destruction," and gotten bloody satisfaction from each of her betrayers, and finally proved her worth to Bill, killing him with the one secret attack that their master never even taught him--The Five Point Palm Exploding Heart Technique. But her quest now over, the mother with her child... We still find her crying in the bathroom at the end. I always though they were tears of joy, but I've since come to realize it is because she's a broken woman. She has killed every one she ever knew or loved. Her friends, her lover... She has nothing left, except BB. And yet, at the very last second, she smiles. Because that's all she needs.

A lot of critics would say that these films were too over-the-top bloody and gory, with no real substance, but that blood and gore was a stylistic decision. The characters and plot would not be believable in a more realistic movie. They're all based certain styles of movies that just don't meld well with today's supposed ultra-realistic depictions of gritty street-life. And so Quentin Tarantino chose to use a mix of 70's style martial arts films, with spaghetti western inspired locations, and what we got was a pure work of art.

I liked the Dark knight because it was full of suspense and I also liked The Matrix because it was a cool movie with a good story line.

Vizzed.com is very expensive to keep alive! The Ads pay for the servers.

Vizzed has 3 TB worth of games and 1 TB worth of music.  This site is free to use but the ads barely pay for the monthly server fees.  If too many more people use ad block, the site cannot survive.

We prioritize the community over the site profits.  This is why we avoid using annoying (but high paying) ads like most other sites which include popups, obnoxious sounds and animations, malware, and other forms of intrusiveness.  We'll do our part to never resort to these types of ads, please do your part by helping support this site by adding Vizzed.com to your ad blocking whitelist.
