The windows system that I use is Windows 7. This is the best system I have ever used, as there is a lot of advantages to Windows 7 over other systems.

It is quite faster than Windows Vista, it is, in some aspects faster than Windows XP, don't get me wrong, Windows XP is brilliant, but I prefer Windows 7. It has a lot of brand new and very nice features that aren't in XP or Vista. It is also presented very well and is very eye-pleasing. Also, it is very easy to see objects on-screen as it is zoomed in. It is also fully functional and  compatible with Windows Vista. The GUI in Windows 7 is also quite remarkable and is very user-friendly too.  Windows 7's security is a lot more advanced than Vista and XP in giving protection to the system.

Overall, Windows 7 runs a lot smoother than XP or Vista, that is why I use this system. It also starts up very quickly, which is very convenient. As well as starting up quickly, it also shuts down very fast.

If I were to recommend a system to get before buying a Laptop or PC. I would say get Windows 7!

Dean2k13 : You are wrong about some of that.... First off, windows takes time to boot up (depending on how old your computer is) Second... Windows takes a long time to shut down depending on how many updates it has to go through

Mr_Miner_092 : I meant generally speaking, putting updates aside, as all systems go through updates and thus takes time. If you were to shut down a windows 7 computer, it would take you literally 5 seconds, putting update times aside, as this does not occur all the times constantly.

If I wanted to shut down my laptop, it would literally take five seconds, no more. I don't know why it takes your computer longer to shut down, mine doesn't have that problem. My laptop also starts up very quickly and I can be active on Vizzed, at least 2 minutes after turning the laptop on. 
I'd also recommend not posting here straight after me, as it is considered sandwich posting and is quite rule bending, so this is my last post here.
