Are we starting when everybody (or almost everybody) has made a character sheet?

Vincent Swiftstrike : Yep, we gotta have all or most of you pass your character sheets first before the start of the rp. Except for people who won't join from the start though.

Here goes my character sheet.


Name: Jacques (A French name, pronounced: Sz-ah-k or Jack)

Gender: Male

Age: 21

Race: Human

Appearance: Jacques is rather tall and slim, usually wearing a black T-shirt underneath his tan zipper-up vest. His pants are usually his favorite pair of dark-grey sweatpants, and for shoes he wears a pair of white sneakers. His hair is brownish-blonde and arranged in a slightly messy fashion.

Personality: Jacques is very compassionate and patient, and almost never gets angry. When he gets angry, however, whoever he is angry at can go off and write their will, because Jacques believes in revenge. Jacques also has a faint French accent in his voice, because he spent a good half of his life learning the native language. 

Background: Jacques was born in Paris, France, and was raised in a decently wealthy home. His parents were secretly spies for the mages, and were killed after almost being discovered. After the incident, Jacques fled to Japan, arriving at Shibuya station with just enough time to get at a safe distance from the flames. Shortly after, he was captured and was forced down the road of being a spy for the same mages that his parents were killed by. He wants to find a magician and ask for help, but he can't find any, due to their ability to hide their identity.

Weapon details: Jacques hides a revolving magnum in a holster in his favorite pair of sweatpants, and he carries a butterfly knife in his pocket. Both are well hidden from police and or mages.

Extra detail: Someone can RP the mage Jacques is spying for if they want.

Just a little announcement. I'll start the RP this October 1. For those of you who aren't giving me their character sheets yet, you can still pass yours and join even after the RP starts, but I'll start the game together with the characters who will give their sheets before the said date. That means with Cakesmith and Vincent. unless someone else will pass theirs before October.

Alright, here I go. I hope it's a good amount of information.

Pets: A small dog by the name of "Momiji"

Background: Aya's mother died giving birth to her one and only daughter: Aya. Aya's father loved his wife dearly, and was overcome with extreme grief at her death. He attributed the cause of the death to Aya, his own child, which made Aya's life miserable. Every day, at whatever chance he had, he would scold and beat her, which he felt was justified by his wife's death.

Before Aya's mother died, her father was an avid believer in magic. In fact, despite being a human, he married her, a full-blooded magician, for that fact. However, magic failed to save his wife, and he turned sharply away from it. Upon learning that his own flesh and blood had inherited some of this tainted practice that was magic, he became even more furious at Aya and beat her even more.

As a result of all this, Aya remained secluded with herself. Even among others her age, she would just sit in the corner or cry all the time. She grew up without any close friends or peers because she would be labeled as an outcast. Many of her free afternoons were spent walking alone or practicing magic in a secluded place, but she didn't go home for as long as possible for fear of her father's wrath.

Aya found Momiji, her tiny dog and one of her only friends, on her doorstep one evening. She decided to take it in, but has tried to keep it a secret from her father. So far, it seems that he doesn't know, but it could just be that he's hiding the fact in order to use as a weapon against her.

Aya's magic is her one comfort away from her father. Since she specializes in healing magic, she can always turn to it for a temporary moment of warmth from the cold life that she lives. It's one of the few reasons that she's alive today. Not only can she heal herself with her magic, but it keeps her spirit lifted in times of deep distress.

Personality: Because of her history, Aya is one that prefers to be alone. She will not talk to others that she doesn't know unless talked to first. She distrusts people, especially guys, and especially guys that she deems as cruel as her father. She generally will not talk to people that she doesn't trust, or give them short monosyllabic answers if she's forced to.

Aya is also known to be a crier. Anything that reminds her of her home or her mother will cause her to break down into tears. She simply wants a home that's comfortable like everyone else's, but knows that something like that is impossible for her to obtain. Her tears are always tears of hopelessness for her situation.

If she does manage to put her trust into someone, then she slowly grows more open to them. Overall, she doesn't talk much, but she can offer insight into her own life when she starts talking. The only thing she can't talk about is her home, because it will cause uncontrollable tears. But she's talkative when it comes to magic, particularly healing magic, and her dog, Momiji.

For her friends, she also has a lot of compassion. Even though she doesn't get love from her home, she wants others to love on. Whenever an ally gets hurt, she will use her healing magic in order to make them better, and her buffer magic in order to protect them. If her allies are ever feeling sad or down, she'll try and muster up the courage to make them feel much happier. However, it sometimes ends up with her crying and her friends trying to cheer her up. In the end, everyone ends up happy.

Appearance: Aya is very short for her age, like 4'6 or 4'7 short. It's a point that some people tease her about. Her appearance is similar to that of Hibiki from Hibiki's Magic.

She has the same robe, though it is an aqua blue rather than green. Her shirt is a slightly darker blue. Her shorts retain the same appearance as well as her shoes. Her eyes are also an aqua color. Her black hair is fairly long, tied into two ponytails that go down her sides.

On her right wrist is noticeable scar, which was made during an argument she had with her father. It's a stark reminder of the pain that her father brings and the ire he bears towards her. The mark itself no longer hurts, but it still remains as a deep symbol.

Around her neck is a necklace, which serves to remind Aya of the mother she never met. During one of his rare calm periods, Aya's father introduced the necklace to Aya. He said it was Aya's mother's, and that she wanted Aya to be the one to have it someday. The necklace is a silver chain, holding a bright blue, diamond-shaped gemstone. In unobscured sunlight, it can cast a faint reflection of a person looking into it. The gem is protected by a magical buff to prevent it from scratching, which is why Aya always takes it wherever she goes.

Abilities: Her magic is comparable to that of white magic from the Final Fantasy series. Aya uses mostly healing magic, which can heal herself of her allies. She also has the ability to heal her allies from sickness (If this was a video game, that would include poison, paralysis, etc.).

She also has the ability to use buffer magic. This includes things like barriers and offensive boosters. These tactics indirectly assist her teammates in battle, without actually causing the damage to other enemies.

In terms of offensive abilities, she has very few. She is slightly skilled in water magic, and can utilize some weak to medium-strength water spells against her enemies. Still, she mainly uses magic that will assist her allies, on and off the battlefield.

Fun facts:

-Despite her depressing personality, she is an avid fan of spicy foods. Whenever she cooks, she usually makes her food spicy, forgetting that some people don't like the taste. People usually take Aya out for food or cook themselves in order to not be suffocated by her spicy dishes.

-She has no weapons for using magic. Since she learned how to use healing magic by primarily using her hands, that's what she uses to perform her magic. That, and she can't afford a magical staff, nor is her father going to be willing to give her one any time soon.

-There are many tiny hidden meanings behind the details of Aya and her life. See if you can't find and pick them out.

Hmm... location? I suppose she resides in Shibuya. She has no connection to the event itself, and didn't even witness its happening. She hears about it though, from news spreading in the air.

Type of weapon/magic used - Swords/throwing needles
Appearance - the guy to the left (Mr Champloo of Disgaea 3) is his basic mold. He has that face, tall, and has no really noticeable special look to him. Just a tall 18 year old male with sharp face
Background

Jin is a man of honor, one of fortitude. He's never gotten himself into a fight that was meaningless, and he has a strong definition of courage and integrity.

Jin once roamed the country side as an illegal mage hunter, but it was through this experience that he gained said traits above.

He once avoided killing a mage, lied about it, got the bounty, and gave the money to the mage so the mage could get away and have a happier life.

He's not afraid to defend himself, but Jin is a quiet man, one who prefers peace over bloodshed.

That said, he has an obsession with the sky, and dreams of flying in it's vast blueness.

Such is life for an ordinary human

Some ideas for human's weapon incase you're running out of ideas: Weapons that can absorb magic energy and use magic as it's fuel in order to be used. It can also be used by magicians by the way. Incase they can't cast magic for some reasons...

I'll now start to write the intro for the RP. I won't be accepting new character sheets until I've made the thread for the actual game. So I'll be starting this with vincent, someone, cakesmith and legacy's characters. Feel free to use this thread for discussions. And also this will be the official OOC (out of character), discussion and sign up thread.
