Is it possible to evolve a scyther in the game, if so please tell me, if it works 500 Viz is yours




Edit: Found out how to evolve scyther, the freewebs info was wrong, to evolve it you need a sun stone

From what I've heard it's unavoidable for the game to deletes from
corruption. Chances are you either pass on for the extra content or it deletes and forced to start all over again. Of course to make sure you don't have to restart from the
very start, best to make a backup at the Save File Manager. Should be
located at the RGR page or elsewhere but I'll place the link here just

As for Scyther, it isn't available in Emerald so it's
impossible to get one there. Even if you did, the only way you can
evolve it is by trading it whilst holding a Metal Coat. And we know that
trading isn't available (unless you were playing a hacked version of
Emerald), so that's out of the question.

Er... That's not possible. Sad to say.

The issue is an M1 Circuit Board thing, as the game is only a ROM on the site, the M1 circuit board (in all pokemon games) is missing, disallowing you from an ingame save.

As such, you cannot save after the elite four, or go to the battle frontier.

Maybe in the future there will be a way around it, but for now, its unavoidable.

legacyme3 : Actually you can advance to the Battle Frontier (chances provided). It's like my
post mentioned before, either it allows you to progress or it just
deletes spontaneously afterwards. There's others who made it past the
Elite Four and had their progress safe and there's also others who lost
it. But I didn't spotted the 1M Circuit Board message anywhere so I'm
not sure how that plays part in this particular game.

Zythic M-3 :

The m1 circuit board error is shown as you start up the game, before you make it to the title screen.

If you do not get that error, than chances are you CAN avoid it, I just have never seen a case like that.
