legacyme3 : Some of those games did come out for the Wii you know...well...Madden 2011 did  at least. I don't have the patience to check them all. I wish more of those games would come out for PC. Also, I thought you said you hate shooters. Almost at the top of your list I see Battlefield and CoD. XD.

I only got Duke Nukem because of the retro factor, and I got CoD because people kept bugging me to give it a try. Didn't like it =/

I do like Battlefield though. The one good shooter I have played.

A lot of these did come out on the Wii, but they are better on the PS3 with the controls, as well as being easier on the eyes. Graphics aren't a selling point, but if there are two basically identical games, I'll get the nicer looking one lol

You should see the articles about Wii U.  They are talking about the price drop issue that people didn't like and hoping not to happen with Wii U, People worry about how much it is due to how much features it has, basically anything you can find.

It will drop in price eventually. Everything does.

legacyme3 :  Actually yes.  I remembering an article saying that the price would be at about $250 or more (no more than $500 is what I think), but Nintendo has not announced it yet, so we'll see when that happens.

Marcmoney : The one thing I can pretty much guarantee is that no matter what the price of the WiiU is, it will be more than the cost of making it. Nintendo is the only company that does that.

It was a gift a while back.

Nintendo enjoys making their products twice as expensive as they need to be and then slashing the prices a couple of months later.

That's what they've done recently, at least.

legacyme3 : All you would have to do is look at the tv's code on the back of the television. Take the code and google it and you can find out anything you want about it. To be honest though, if it isn't hd, then you are getting the same graphics that a wii has, 480p.

the_casualty : Almost every company does that though. Basically if you want to have something a few months before everybody else, you pay more for it.

the_casualty :  Yeah, they made an article about that.  They don't want to make their customers upset for buying a product that is expensive and getting a price drop in the next few months.  They are thinking about a decent price for the Wii U.

legacyme3 : If you are talking about exclusives...I tend to lean towards 360 myself. Mainly because of Halo and Gears, which I love both. I really wouldn't mind owning a PS3, because then I could get the PS3 exclusives AND have a blueray player, which wouldn't be bad.
Marcmoney : They should just do it the way they always do. Make it expensive early on and drop it down 6-8 months later. You are paying for time when you buy it early.

trouble982 :  Yeah, exactly.  I got my 3DS a month before the price drop.  I was so pissed off, but I get 20 free games on the 3DS, which is 60% okay.

Doesn't really change my opinion though. It will be better than the Wii, but time will tell how good.

Marcmoney : Anybody that watched/read about E3 knows what the Wii U looks like. I'm not really going to side either way on it because I can see ways that it could be the greatest console ever, and I see ways it could be a flop. I am really hoping that you can at least have 2 touch-screen controllers, which is apparently a point that haven't settled on yet.
