I really hope the WiiU at least TRIES to make an appeal to the hardcore gamer. I do NOT hate nintendo by any means and I WANT to like their systems. It'd just be easier if they showed a little more fun for the hardcore gamers.

I guess we will just have to wait and see what the WiiU is like.  Hopefully it's oriented in a way that games like CoD could be played.

I don't mind DNF's graphics, because as long as you don't look in the mirror and stare at the awkward jump animation you can pretty much tell what time period that part of the game was started in =P

If you think that the Wii does not have any hardcore games, think again.  There are games like CALL OF DUTY BLACK OPS (which everyone should realize by now), Resident Evil, and many more.  The Wii U better be able to play some decent games that can be realistic and some games that are gory.

Marcmoney : Dude, I don't own a 360 or a PS3. I don't have an hdtv so the Wii streaming in 480p for my netflix works just fine for me . That's about all I use it for. Also, it was recently announced that the 3DS was a complete failure with horrible sales.
