There are two sources of what you are talking about. One is the RPG posting stats at the left of the screen, where your name. This show only if you set it to that through your profile editing. It's just a post count and how much exp. you get for each post.
The other one, which is probably what you're asking about refers to the battle arena stats. We were supposed to have a battle arena a long time ago, but problems with the board and constant upgrades kept the owner, David, from being able to work on. It'll most likely be a while before work gets done on that unless someone else can help out with it. But, yes those stats would affect you're fighting ability, along with the items you can purchase with Viz from the item shop.
