Nice to make your acquaintance, everyone! My name is Zero and I want to be a part of this family. I came on this site because of video games, but I feel that there's more to this site than just that. I don't know you, and you don't know me, so I'll tell you a little about myself. I'm from Durham, NC. I like to play video games and write poetry. I also have Asperger's Syndrome... just saying. I would like to be the first to welcome you to the Vizzed community. You joined for the same reason the majority of us did, but you are correct. There is more to this site than just that. As you noticed, there are many forums and thousands of threads. For the NES games, you can compete for the high score, which your place in each game is on your profile page. Davideo7 hosts 2 competitions a month where you can earn a lot of Viz for doing well. To see what this month's contests are, look at the contest section of the RGR forum. The Crazy House forums are just fun randomness, and some people hosts their own forum games there. Just explore the place to see what interests you. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask. Pretty much everyone here are always willing to hope if you just ask them. The community is nice, and so are the staff. Have fun, and I hope to see you in the threads!

You are totally right that there is more to Vizzed than the games. There is the Retro Toons Room for classic 90's cartoons, and there is the Vizzed Board for us members to talk about a wide variety of topics. Aside from video games, I enjoy listening to music and relaxing with my friends. And I, too, have Asperger's Syndrome. Feel free to send me a private message if you ever want to chat one-on-one.
