I'm so nervous about college. I was picked on at school. I don't know what college is going to be like for me. People say college is different than high school. But I also never been away from my town. I'm anxious about leaving. I hope this is going to be a different experience of high school. How should I deal with these nerves about leaving?

My sister went to collage, she told me few about it is that Collage have more mature people, which is less likely to get picked on. Just study hard to get good job though.

I haven't went 2 collage yet but .. my aunts and some of my friends did and its alot better and ur less likely 2 get picked on cause ppl ther are more mature. Just study your hardest and do ur best.. and u will succedd

College IS loads different than high school, but personally, I like it more. You have more freedom. Plus the people are more mature because they actually WANT to be there.

I only go to a community college in my hometown so I still live at home, but I'm sure you'll be fine. It'll be hard at first, but trust me - college is better. [=

Just do not put off things until the last minute. Most of my professors don't bother you if you turn things in late, but it sucks to fail a class that YOU'RE paying for. So study hard, and try and relax. I was nervous, too, but college is more fun for me than high school ever was.

Try not to worry about it. I am in my sixth year of college right now, and it is different than high school. You get to choose all the classes you take when you want to. The people tend to not pick on others. The clique thing isn't a big deal, which is a cause of a lot of bullying in high school. Remember that the classes you pick are based on your major, so you will start meeting people with similar interests as you when you get into your more advanced courses. Remember, this is a chance to start with a clean slate, so you don't have to worry about running into those people from high school. Hope things go well for you.

I'm about to go to college (next year). From the ones that I have visited it seems like you are part of a larger community in which you get the freedom to become who you want to be and there will be many people that will have the same interests as you.

I'm more nervous about the acceptance of colleges rather than actually going there right now.
