Well I haven't been online in a while and thought I shall start a thread based on why I haven't been on.
So what I'd like to know is; what do you do for money, a little description and if you like it.

I'll start:
I'm a customer service rep for Amcor Fibre Packaging. Its pretty intense work because we deal with business'.
We currently are under staffed and have 6 people doing 10 people's work. Normally we have 1 CSR assigned to 1 rep.
My main rep covers the metro area and food customers, so I have a national account for a major pizza company to keep an eye on.
I only get paid to work 8 hours, but most of the time I'm working 12 hour days. I love my work and I've only been working there for 3 months, I've been nominated for the Star Elite program, where they recognise your hard work and you get a $500 gift voucher, if the big bosses vote for you.
The only downside is that this job leaves one very mentally fatigued by the time the weekend comes around.

As of two weeks ago, I am a cashier at Giant Eagle, a grocery store chain in this region.

It's fairly simple work, you ring up items, take payment, and keep the register clean.
I don't particularly care for the job, but it pays the bills and that is what is important right now because we've been unemployed since the end of June and money is tight.
I work 8 hour shifts, with two breaks and a half-hour lunch (which is probably not paid, so I only get money for 7 1/2 hours... I will find out next week when I get my paycheck). I only make $7.50/hr which is the second lowest-paying job I've ever had, but like I said, it's better than $0/hr.
By the end of the shift, I am tired and sore, and it just builds all week. Eventually I will adapt and it won't bother me so much, but until then life is hell.

Whenever I can I'll grab random jobs from people, earning a few bucks every now and again. Since I'm only 15, I can't get regular job yet.

I also get a small allowance sometimes

Unfortunately, I've been unable to get a job. =/ Stupid economy...

Though when term starts, I'm going to start doing a work study at my college. I'll most likely work with a couple of my friends in the costume department: stocking shelves, hemming costumes, etc. It pays $10 an hour, so I'll be happy. Although you only get paid once a month. =| Better than nothing though, right?
