Hey, I was browsing through the SEGA blog today and realized that I missed them announce that Sonic CD will be making a return!
The systems that they plan on releasing it for include the Xbox Store, PSN, PC Download (Assuming Steam) and most importantly, the iPod Touch/iPad/iPhone and the Android/Windows Phone!
They decided that it will only include the original Japanese soundtrack in it, which I am perfectly fine with since I prefer that track over the English one. It will be released around late 2011, around the same time as Sonic Generations.

This sounds great. I have played the Japanese version on some emulators, and I really like the music. I'll have to buy an iTunes card so I can get this as soon as it comes out!

but i bet it will use playstation + in order to get it :L

sonic 1 and 2 used playstation + so you have to wait until its for non PS+ players
