What I mean by this is that sometimes on a rare occasion, every few years or so, I'll get this scenario where I stop and think how my life is going, as opposed to how it was then, or even how I've managed to overcome all the obstacles that I've encountered in my life. And I get this feeling of satisfaction because I know there's still going to be a lot more hardships down the road. In other words, it's unexpected when I think of this... but it's a good mood lifter.

Anyways, have you had this scenario? Have you noticed how it gives a better outlook on your life?

Yeah, that's happened to me before. Quite recently in fact. I thought about how crappy I thought life was in high school and then compared it to how much better it's been since graduation and since starting college. My life isn't perfect, but things could be loads worse. I admit, it makes me feel a lot better when I reflect on it.
