Battleship on the NES is not that bad of a game and one of the most popular board games of all times. Its basic strategic makes everyone involved in it and it is a good game. Battleship is probably better to play on any system better than the NES because this is a very old game.

Graphics - 9

The graphics are not that bad for the NES. It shows the ships when you shoot at a target and it will show you if you missed of not. It has good 3D images.

Sound - 7

The sound is so boring. I get so bored of hearing the sound because there is no background song. The sound effects are very good though.

Addictiveness - 6

I would play this game a few times because like I said, Battleship is very popular for board games, but I am not sure if I can stand the boringness of no sound.

Story - N/A

There is no story in this game. All you do is try to destroy their ships and win the game.

Depth - 7

The game has some features that is pretty cool. One of them is that you can shoot more missiles in one turn. It is a faster way to attack the ships than hitting them one by one in every turn. There is only a limit in those multi missiles so use them wisely. Another thing is that in this game, the game plays like Pacman. You play a match with someone and then the next level gets harder and it goes on like that.

Difficulty - 5

This is a 50/50 chance of doing good. If you have techniques in this game, then it will be easy for you to play it. The controls are a little fast for me because when I try to choose which one I want to attack, I would accidentally choose the wrong one. I do not know if this is anyone else's problem, but it was kind of for me.

Wrap Things Up...

Battleship is a great game to try out. I would recommend trying this game out, but it would be best to try game systems that are better than NES because I think they are a little better, but still, you can try this game out. Very fun game to play.
